Funny how they keep coming around. This week flew past so fast, I’m still processing last week and haven’t caught up yet.
Last weekend the yearly Jetty2Jetty fun run was on in Redcliffe. The race starts and finishes in Woody Point (right outside my bedroom window) Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The event has 21.1km, 10km, 5 km and 3km courses starting from 6am to 9.15am. Someone said to me, “I saw you on the balcony. Did you see me waving?” “Ahhh no.” I replied.
You may see me running…. if Freddy Krueger was chasing me. Other than that, walking is my preferred pace so I opted to sit on my balcony with coffee and camera to enjoy the race day.
Actually, there is something I run for. I run……… to grab my camera when I see a view like this one this week.
Photograph of Moreton Bay from the park beside my place.
Enjoy your weekend!
Carlos Santana – Musician I would most like to spent an afternoon chatting with.
There’s a darkness living deep in my soul
I still got a purpose to serve
So let your light shine, deep into my home
God, don’t let me lose my nerve
Don’t let me lose my nerve (Lyrics)
