I’m still learning my way around Photoshop. Most of my photographs posted thus far may have minor tweaks. I use the straightening tool, crop, and may lighten up some shots. I took some portrait photographs for a friend a few weeks back and fiddled with shadows and highlights, brightness and contrast with some good results.
Below is a photograph I have had a play with this evening. It’s over the top but I’m having fun.

I’ve purchased a couple of Photoshop Projects magazines that have step by step guides & include a CD with source images for the projects. Well worth the coin & a great way to get to know your way around Photoshop. UTube is also another source u can access 4 step by step instructions on Photoshop projects, tips & how-toos

Nice edit, a touch less red would give it more of a natural feel. Try Lightroom โor the free equivalent Raw Therapyโ for basic edits and cataloguing they are great.

The best way to learn Photoshop is to play with it. Also, check out downloading free actions. Some of these can give cool results to your photos.

I don’t use Photoshop for photos, but for my artwork. It’s always fun to play around with the filters!
