Sunsetting

Every night
The horizon lights up
Swirls of pink and orange
Fading to blue and purple

Few bother to look anymore
At a blessing
That only comes once a day                                    (Ref- Poems of Jessica Millsaps)

Southbound again I don’t know if I’m going or leaving home
Boy got to be moving
Seems like the boy is bound to roam  (Ref – Dire Straits)

    • Thanks Jet, I went to a Dire Straits concert in Brisbane. A friend borrowed a milk truck, took out the milk and about 10 of us rode in the back with another 4 in the front. Old school version of carpooling 🙂

I believe this is an exceptional capture … the color, the sun flare, and the way you caught the water. Thank you for the, like, on my Ming on the couch image…I began following you today…let’s keep an eye on each others work.

  5. Beautiful photos Kristin! I never get tired of looking at Aussie sunsets. It’s amazing, I never realised until I moved to Sydney that the coast has different coloured sunsets to the inland countryside. Hope you have a Merry Christmas. Cheerio, CC

I never take a sunset for granted, that’s for sure… I am chasing them so often…Christmas Day I was fortuante to be working days so off early enough to catch some but nothing like your beauties…The first and third are my favs…but you are so fortunate to be near water…I am near rivers:) I am so humbled you are following my blog when I see your art here…thank you, Oliana
