I don’t know where I’m going, but this is where I’ve been;
Grampians National Park. Wow, what can I say. Nature at her finest. The weather was perfect. Cold and misty, creating an eerie flavour to the whole experience.
Staying in Halls Gap…. The name reminds me of a B grade American slasher movie. Combine this, the mist and a vivid imagination and you could really freak yourself out.
Joking aside, this is a really great place to base yourself if you want to look around for a few days. More info can be found here..
We decided to walk out to The Pinnacle despite the low cloud which hid the views most of the way up there.
I don’t like heights. It’s easy to walk along a plank of timber on or a few inches off the floor. Put that bit of timber up to a height where the fall would cause death and all of a sudden it’s a whole different perspective. You’re arguing with your instinct for survival. Who’s the stronger? Intellectual self or instinctive self?
